Poster Session

The Workshop on Sugarcane Virtual Biorefinery: assessing success of new technologies will offer to participating groups the opportunity to present their main research topics related to the workshop subject in a poster session. Poster presentation will take place in the afternoon of August 13th.

The main purpose of this session is to promote discussions among these different groups with and the staff of the CTBE Virtual Sugarcane Biorefinery (SVB) Program, encouraging scientific collaborations necessary to start up of the Mathematical Modeling and Simulation Net that will collaborate with the VSB construction.

Topics suggested for the institutional posters (applicable on VSB):

• mathematical modeling;
• process integration and simulation;
• optimization strategies;
• establishment of a simulation platform for the assessment of economic, environmental and social impacts of the studied alternatives;
• impacts on sustainability evaliation.

The poster shall contain:

• Lines of research of the group related to the workshop theme.
• Infrastructure, personnel and summary of research accomplished by the group in the last years.

IMPORTANT: In order to obtain a map of Brazilian research activities applicable on the Virtual Sugarcane Biorefinery and to promote collaboration among these groups we suggest only one poster per institution (department in case of universities). It is important that this poster points out all active lines of research of the institution research groups and names and e-mails of researchers.

Poster dimensions: 90 cm (width) X 120 cm (height).
Poster oficial language: english.

To exhibit your research group poster it is necessary to register in the workshop (click here for online registration), including a pdf file with the poster abstract. Poster presenters will be responsible for all costs related to printing and other arrangements for their posters.
